Episode 31: Conversations with Creatives: Rab Bakari, Co-Founding DJ|Producer of HipLife

My dearest friend Rab Bakari. I loved him, regardless of how silly and annoying he was. He taught me so much. Schooled me about the music business. Took my businesses seriously. SongModel and Amyang Fashun. Always encouraged me, especially when I first moved to Brooklyn. He introduced me to Accra, Ghana, and showed me just how beautiful and joyous life can be. He was the most humble living legend that I've met thus far. He was super-connected and influential but never abused his power. I am privileged because he chose me as a friend and always nurtured our friendship. I am grateful for this interview. It's my way of publicly giving you your flowers.
